RecommendedI was so Impressed on so many levels with my admission to the ED two days ago. First of all, everyone from the door greater to the intake, triage nurse leader (Amanda? Sorry, I was so sick), Nurse Practitioner, my RN Allison and Both Doctors, even the transporter were so professional. I am proud to say as an RN and Nurse leader, bravo! The staffing under the conditions in the Valley at the moment was amazing. That is one well organized and happy unit and it is massive. I try not to leave negative comments during this pandemic because I understand things are not normal. 1st I’m not a fan of this particular hospitals staffs ability to retain information. This visit 9/28 I went in specifically for a lupus flare, I only go if it’s an emergency like I can’t walk, fever or visible swelling. I was told by multiple doctors and nurses they were going to admit me for my already known and maintained condition of pulmonary hypertension, not what I came for. I sat in the back waiting room for approxima... read more
