This place is an excellent extension of rehab I learn everyday and I feel supported in my recovery and the staff has all been very good to me
They claim to be a substance abuse treatment facility but they really just let their clients use it as a dating service. Have you ever heard of a treatment facility that is okay with current clients living together and getting high together? I’m not sure if they are accredited by DCF but when they go to get re-licensed, I hope they look into that. They don’t contribute to sobriety, they contribute to addicts deaths.
Over the last 6 months Sophros Recovery has been an instrumental part in my sobriety. From the moment you walk in you feel safe, welcomed and surrounded with support. Both group and individualized therapy help address personal issues and needs, offering peer support, coping skills and healthy alternatives. I cannot begin to express the amount of thanks and gratitude that I have for every individual that works at Sophros, as they have forever impacted and changed my life.
A true life changer! Sophroes is a family that allows family to come as they are. If you can get Felicia as your individual therapist do so! She creates a nonjudgmental bond that allow you to recover at your own pace all while mixing the right amount of love into the process.
