Initially, I was happy with my service. But upon further inspection I realized that I paid $60 for a BASIC pedicure- nothing special, just a soak and exfoliation- and French tip gel. My left foot looks decent, but my right big toe nail was trimmed down way shorter than my left, and gel was cured on my skin. I went home and removed it with acetone, so I didn't develop a gel allergy. I feel like I didn't get what I paid for. They removed my old gel nails (also done at Sophora) and filed my nails so thin, it took three months for my nail strength to return. It was painful to the touch for all three months. I had gone to them for manis and pedis a couple of times beforehand and it was okay. I think they lack safety training, and this experience scarred me from having my nails done for a while.

I had the most amazing, relaxing pedicure with Christina. She made my feet so soft, and perfectly shaped and painted my toenails. She also gave me the best massage.

Hello, I came in today around 11:30a for a manicure and pedicure. I’m not exactly sure the name of the man who serviced me. As I sat down, I told him I had acrylic on my big toenails and asked if he could take it off. He said “ I can’t.” so I asked “why not. “ He said that he did not have time. I said “OK instead of a full service pedicure can you just take off the acrylic and paint my toes” he said “OK.” I then asked if when I get my fill on my nails, will they have to do a full set in order to make them shorter he said yes... read more
