When the Sickle Cell clinic first opened I loved going there for treatment, they took care of you and was more compassionate for our pain. Then things goes buy they don't care, they tell you that you are not in pain and you ok. How can you tell me im not in pain!! You're not in my body . How does someone else say you in pain?
Fantastic, caring clinical provider!
I am one of Dr. Lanzkron's "sicklers" and she is one of the best when it comes to helping us at all times. I remember going to a clinic appointment not feeling good and she could see it all in my face. I ended up there longer than I expected but I left feeling better than when I got there. She ordered me an I.M. as soon as she saw that I was in pain. Making us feel better always seems to be her top priority.
