Walked in and specifically asked for the 35$ nails because my nails have to be so short for work, I just wanted to feel cute!! The nails are dipped, they look wonky and she still had the nerve to charge me $50. While I was there another client came in to complain about the same lady not processing her payment correctly on a gift card. I’m beyond mad I had to spend $50 on this and they are uneven!! I didn’t even make it out the parking lot before crying because I don’t get my nails done often!!
Pedicure requested. 1st time in many years. Expected to leave feeling fabulous. However, their was no real human connection in the process. As, the lady kept looking away, as if she had things to do. Barely messaged more like a light touch as if in a hurry. I was the only customer there. The color I asked for was baby powder blue/Smurf blue. She said, no, red. I said, white. Cause i wanted to match my daughter's toes. She said, red. Maybe i should have been more direct. So I left feeling weirded out. Bummer.
Nail tech had the nastiest attitude because I wouldn’t agree to like this horrid nail job. All I wanted was the ends cleaned up. I know I need glasses but there’s no way she thinks this looks good! I shouldn’t have paid until it was perfect. This is deplorable. You are all so wrong for this! Do better . $35 for a crappy job???
Since I've returned to Louisiana my go to nail salon WAS Sophia's Nails on David Dr. After my last visit it's NO longer my nail salon! I WON'T return!!! Without going into detail I feel the nail tech made an audacious move with a bait and switch in fees charged for lip, chin, and eyebrow wax with a deluxe pedicure. She got a hefty tip, plus kept $19 in change, from a $100 given to her! I decided to pay cash instead of using my debit card so tax "wouldn't" be charged. Really good service called and got an appointment on short notice, they finished fast and they were really nice
