I really love this salon! I was going somewhere else that was charging me $10 more for each service, and the quality and warmness went away. I got a manicure and pedicure which I was overcharged for. Service was just okay. My cuticles lifted off the nail plate and were bleeding during the treatment. Some parts of the treatment were painful. On three of my nails, the polish came off (despite letting it dry for 30 minutes) before I even left the nail salon. I had several hangnails (five fingers had them). A day later many people asked me about the hangnails and what happened.... nobody complimented my nails. I just got my nails done here literally an hour ago, and one of my nails has already popped off, with another one already feeling like its going to pop off. I paid $115 in total today, and I am beyond frustrated. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 16 years, and this has never happened to me — not even once.
I had my nails done yesterday with Dani, and he did an amazing job! My nails turned out perfect. Consistently great service every time.
As a new resident to Fairmount, Hackensack around 3 years ago, I found Sophia and had a pleasant, consistent experience with Juliana. Julie was professional, prompt, and communicative. However, Julie has since moved on, and while I continued having regular gel manicures and pedicures done here since her recent departure, I just had my last service at Sophia nail.
