Visited from out of state! Great little dojo. I'll be back when I am in town
Great dojo. The instructors are very knowledgeable, not just in judo but also aikido, taekwondo, and weapons. Currently, there are usually two or so women around my size to work out with. But even if they're not around, all the guys are happy to work with me. Lots of fun learning how to apply techniques across a range of different heights, weights and physical abilities. This is the best dojo I've trained at, and the instructors are some of the best I've had the chance to train with. This dojo is a nonprofit, so the instructors make nothing from teaching. It's all for the love of the art. Those are the people you want to learn from because it's not about money; it's about spreading the art they love and teaching you!
They teach excellent self-defense techniques here. As a woman, I believe this increased my self-confidence and self-control I don’t feel afraid at night in a parking lot anymore. Learning judo here really made me a better person. The instructors are very professional.
