Got a 20 minute lecture how American’s are fat and South Korea is so much healthier. Was scolded how bad American school lunches were compared to South Korea. Very degrading and mean spirited doctor that has no empathy for struggling patients. If you are sensitive about your weight, please avoid this doctor, she will make you feel worse.
She needs to lose her license!! She doesn’t know ANYTHING but the word no. It’s pointless to go to her. She doesn’t listen and she tries to get you to do things she want without looking at your health profile! I will be filing a formal complaint to have her investigated.
After years of having issues with my weight my dr referred me to dr kim. 30 mins was spent on i should eat like a Korean. About how america is the fattest country. Had me watch school lunch videos explaining about childhood . I left there more confused and upset then anything else. I thought it was an appt to help me figure out whats happening and what to do. When she asked me what I eat in a day she made me feel terrible . I haven't decided if im returning
I thought I was seeing a weight loss doctor that was going to help me lose weight. I was prescribed a weight loss medication for a few months and then taken off of it after this doctor decided I had lost the amount of weight she decided she wanted me to lose. I had only lost 4 pounds and still had a BMI in the overweight category and should definitely lose another 15 pounds. Real and straight to the point. Her job is to help you lose weight. She is very direct but sometimes that is needed to get people on the right track. Excited to work with Dr. Kim!
