After a year of seeing Dr. Wakil, I can honestly say she has made a tremendous difference in my son’s life. She is one of the most caring, dedicated physicians I have ever met. Dr. Wakil truly cares about her patients and their families. She has gone above and beyond, even taking calls and checking in outside of normal office hours when needed. As a therapist, I truly enjoy working with Dr. Wakil. She has a strong understanding of trauma and family systems, and she truly cares about her patients. I have been her patient for a long time including when we both lived in Colorado. She is very detailed and kind and really gets past surfaces challenges to the core of the issue which can be uncomfortable at times but she has your best interests in mind. She is the reason I am able to function. Medications are changed slowly and one at a time so any problems can be resolved quickly.
