My first and last experience with Sonya Renee was very unprofessional and rude! Her FB site says one thing, she says another. I book a consultation, big chop for 4pm. I arrive 3:40pm. As soon as I walk in the door, she looks at me and states may I help you? i inform her I have a 4pm appointment. She immediately states (rudely, while pressing a clients hair) No, you had a 3pm appointment, I was wondering where you were. I say NO it is at 4. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Sonya, who demonstrated unethical business practices and a lack of integrity. Upon booking my appointment, I was not informed about a "required" Cocktail hair service. This service was not clearly communicated until I sat in the chair, the day of my appointment, in which I was charged more than double for the service—despite no prior warning. When I spoke to Sonya about this issue, she claimed she "thought" her website emphasized the necessity of this service.... read more

I wish there was a way to give more stars! Sonya is an "all in ONE" stylist! Your appointment time is YOUR appointment time! She is respectful of your time. She is fierce with those scissors, a true master of cuts! She uses QUALITY product that doesn't leave your hair hard ,sticky or with product build up. My hair holds the style ,with little to no maintenance between my hair appointments ! The atmosphere is just relaxing and CLEAN! Sonya is such a blessing to have as my hairstylist. She is just the COMPLETE package.
