My first impression of Oscar was good - he was friendly and seemed attentive. However, once the construction started, things quickly went downhill. It became clear that he doesn't have the right background or experience in construction. His knowledge is very basic, and the quality of his work reflects that. If you care about your house and the quality of work, I strongly recommend to work with someone else.
Working with Oscar was a frustrating experience. He does not listen to his clients, and the subcontractors he hires are unreliable—often failing to show up because they are committed to other jobs. The quality of the construction was extremely poor. Oscar and his team lacked the skills to properly install plumbing, tile, and hardwood flooring. Much of the work had to be redone. I would strongly advise against hiring this company.
I have been working with Sonoma County Construction for many projects on my home, including concrete work, construction of a new room, renovating bathrooms, fencing, etc. Oscar and team take great pride and care in their work. The price is very competitive, and the time to complete the job is quick. Oscar is so friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Sonoma County Construction.
