I just found out that the owner Charles Litchfield fired an employee for his sexual orientation but claimed it was for other reasons. The same employee was bullied and nothing was done about it under his supervision. That is just unacceptable in today’s society, I will never return here. That email was horrifying, I couldn’t believe you condoned that sick behavior, shame on you!
A group of us rode our bikes from Portland to San Francisco with a stop here the day before we finished our ride. Had we known just how wonderful our stay would've been we would have finished our ride here!!! The Manager was beyond accommodating, the staff was friendly and the food & wine was a pleasant surprise (we left with 4 bottles). If you are in the area and looking for a quaint resort to relax I highly recommend this place.
Stayed there during my friend's wedding. Food was really good and I very much loved my cozy room n service.
