We had Sonny's cater our wedding last year. Everyone enjoyed their food. We were very pleased
First time here really good BBQ. We had pulled pork sandwich with slaw and baked beans. Our waitress was real nice and kept a checked on us.
Just walked into this Sonny’s and they told us it was going to be a 45 min wait when there was plenty of tables open, and then the hostess said it would be another 20-30 mins once we got sat to put our food order in. I’ve worked in the food industry for over 10+ years and you don’t say that kind of stuff to your guest, and then say the kitchen is backed up.
They close the drive thru for 10 to 30 minutes but don't know if they can open it up. Tell customers they can't do drive thru because they are out of food but if you'd like to come in and eat please do. So how can you be out of food for the drive thru but still have food for the dinning room. Poor planning by the lack of management for a holiday to not make food and with the rainy forecast for the day they should have known people would be wanting some barbeque.
