I wouldn't trade this place for the world! The food is always hot delicious and fast. There was so much on our order that we had enough to take home for leftovers! Our waitress was the sweetest. Every employee was so friendly! Don't sleep in Sonny's. Get over there and eat you some good BBQ!
Server was nice , we had a ten top , food came out in increments and some meat was cold . Company complained of ribs being dry . Coleslaw has weird flavor . Corn nuggets are the best part. Egg roll appetizer has confusing Asian flavor and doesn’t match “bbq” aesthetic . Thought checks would be brought to the table had to get server to bring them . HUGE glasses for drinks. From the moment we entered the restaurant till the moment we walked out the door Hersh was an amazing waitress. She had a smile on her face the entire time she waited on us and even walked us to the door when we left. You are very lucky to have her on your team.
My first visit to this location, been to the Baton Rouge locations for over 34 years. The place look so nice. The food was very good. But the service was very slow.(maybe 45 minutes to get) It was busy but not so much that our meal took that long to be served. Our appetizer was given with the meal which was not as should be. I will most certainly go again just hoping for better server.
