The entire summer of 2017 I was in indescribable neck pain, I went to Fonn only because he had operated on my neck several years before and I was hoping he would figure out what he had done wrong on the first surgery. I had my 1st appointment in early April. After a dozen appointments, two useless shots, and around $30,000 later I was in the same pain as I was in April. He Prescribed nothing for the pain during this time. In November I gave up and saw a neurosurgeon in KY. Had 5 vertebra fixed
Yes if you DON'T get your appointments 1st thing of a morning you will wait several hours. Since i started coming to him his desk staff has swiched a bunch of times. An I'm thankful because i had left him because of the staff but went back jan of 2017. He is kind of rough around the edges till you get to know him an then he is more friendly. I have to say he is one heck of a good surgeon. An I'm talking to him about my SI joint fusion this week. He did my neck surgery in april an had no issues.
This guy is HORRIBLE!! He charged us $45,000 for 3 rounds of injections! Then said my sons pain from a car accident "was all in his head" yet, all the other doctors said he would need surgery when he gets older!! Not to mention, i know of 3 other people that has had surgery from him and he screwed up ALL 3!! DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!
Dr Fonn is a HORRIBLE person! He swindled my son's settlement money from him! My son got on Medicaid because of a car accident to pay for medical bills and Fonn decided to take it out of my son't lousy $20,000 settlement! My son only received $2,000 out of all of it and he is disabled for LIFE! Fonn manipulated the system to get over $12,000 from my son's settlement YET Fonn said the pain "was all in my sons head".. (according to Fonn) He charged us over $45 THOUSAND!!
After reading some of the reviews I'm gonna take the time to post mine.....I loved him. He was patient, attentive, he took the extra time to answer all of my friends questions and concerns and mine when he didn't have to acknockledge my exsistance. She had 3 steroid injections and it helped her. I do recommend him to one and all. And if the truth be told we all love $$$ so they can save those comments. His staff however does need some improvements...lab staff is hateful and rude.!
I saw Dr. Fonn about 5 years ago after I fell mowing my yard and hit an uphill muddy patch and injured nerves in both arms. Dr. Fonn insisted on injecting my spine with steroids 3 separate times---a practice since found to not be helpful based on evidence-based medical literature. He then wanted to do back surgery and fuse my spine for a arthritic change in my neck--how come that wasn't mentioned before? When I asked to see him again to discuss the procedure, this was refused twice in person
This doctor is condescending to his staff. He yells and curses at them. I would not ever recommend this man. He is not a compassionate caring person
Money hungry. Horrible manners. I wouldn't let him do back surgery on my dog. He done one level on my back. And after the surgery I had some CT scans done. I took a look at the CT results and seem a lot of thinning on the disc above. I call that job security. Also if you do anything he don't like, he, will harass you every time you see him. He is a horrible excuse for a person, let alone alone a doctor.
This doctor and his staff are the WORST I've ever come across. The staff is incredibly rude, the wait is several hours long, then when seen its less than 1 min. I've had to have my injections rescheduled less than 24 hrs before, because they don't want to work late, and after I've already taken off work. Today, was the topper. Due to my case being from a collision, I'm only allowed to come in 1 day a week between 8am and 11am, due to the case manager working just that time. I had to bring
