Today I had the displeasure of hearing how she treats other parts of the healthcare field. One of my fellow technicians had just gotten off the phone with the nurse to inform them that a new script needed to be sent for a patient with a DEA due to a recent law change. Wow, I’ve been seeing this doctor for nearly 15 years. She even delivered one of my two daughters. I go in to get an IUD removed and she asks me how my son is. (I don’t even have a son) I can forgive that because I’m sure she has a lot of clients. I laughed/shrugged it off. Get to the removal process. It’s so painful I’m literally in tears. She couldn’t find the strings to my Mirena birth control. She quickly gives up and tells me the next option is removing it in the OR. I have never been to an OB that cared so little about people. I was TOTALLY put off by this dr’s bedside manner as I was crying in her office and she dismissed me. I will tell as many people about my horrible experience with this complete lack of empathy dr. I’m still waiting on my results which now will be over 48 hours.
Dr. Yoo was my OB for my 2nd pregnancy. She answered all of my questions, was straightforward with her professional opinions, and listened to my concerns and helped me feel comfortable and confident in our decisions throughout the pregnancy. The office itself does get busy so appointments do tend to be re-scheduled but I have had this happen with many doctors, not just this practice.
