Sonic is cool mainly because of the "old fashioned" drive-in experience. The carhops may wear skates in the summer but today everyone was driving thru and not in need of their services. This was my third trip to the Brownstown Sonic. The first was in the madness of their grand opening so I wouldn't characterize that as indicative of what eating here is really like.
