Can't rate the food, because I can't say I got any given the wait time. I showed up around 1:50ish. I sat in stall 8 and pressed the button 4 times (it timed out all 4 times.) No one even acknowledged me. So I figured maybe it's the stall. So, I backed out and backed down to stall 5 (button timed out twice). I look in the windows and there is 1 employee and she is trying her damn best. She gets through at least 9 cars in the drive thru. So I back out and try the drive thru. Restaurant was seemingly completely abandoned at 2:00 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon. No one was taking orders in the drive-thru, no employees were visible in the store, no one was at the drive-thru window, no one was answering for people that were in the stalls. I live 2 minutes away so its convenient. Ive went 6 or 7 times and every single time its a bad experience. The first time we waited in the drive through at the speaker for over 5 minutes and finally pulled forward and seeing that they were busy wrestling. 2 male employees were wrestling like little kids and then I wanted to get an attitude with us because we were aggravated. I am a regular there with using the online app. I have to say out of every location in the Independence and Blue Springs area, this location is hands down the BEST sonic I can possibly go to! The staff is always amazing, on time, very friendly. They always go above and beyond what any other location even tried to do. The crew at this location need to be known that they are doing a wonderful job, and they take it serious! Thank you to this crew! Thank you!
I went to the Jackson drive sonic in Independence, MO on July 5th. I waited 25 minutes for my mobile pickup order and finally left, never receiving my 3 drinks. I called customer service after leaving and after being on a prolonged hold my call was disconnected. I put in a complaint on the app same day and have not received any response. I just called customer service again and was again disconnected after prolonged hold even though when I first called it said wait time was less than 1 minute.
