I recently stopped by Sonic Drive-In and ordered a small chocolate shake and two Smashburgers. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped. Let’s start with the shake: It was incredibly runny—so much so that it had the consistency of milk instead of the thick, creamy treat I was expecting. Spent $20. Waited 10+ minutes. Got 3 “milk”shakes and a float that were all straight liquid. They’ve given us raw corndogs in the past. Food has declined in quality since the owners changed.
