I recently stopped by Sonic Drive-In and ordered a small chocolate shake and two Smashburgers. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t as satisfying as I’d hoped. Let’s start with the shake: It was incredibly runny—so much so that it had the consistency of milk instead of the thick, creamy treat I was expecting.
