First time I ordered here it was through the drive-thru for a sweet tea with light ice. They fill the cup up to the brim with ice, I barely got any tea. They refused to take it back and remake it. Decided to give them a second chance today. And today's tea consisted of light ice, but it was heavily watered down. They could have given me water with food coloring in it and it would have tasted the same. This location is not worth your time or your money.
Ordered iced tea, they gave me discolored water. And this was the third time. Complained after 2nd time, spoke to manager about the issue, was assured it would be corrected... nope! Promised her would give them another chance... FAIL! And the same assistant mgr that was so rude and obnoxious last time who told me I was lying when I told her NO other Sonic in Colorado Springs served watered down tea like theirs -- yep, she was there again and was only slightly less rude and obnoxious this time. My wife and I went during halftime of the Final Four Championship game for a dessert. My wife got a mini blast and I got a medium blast. Total cost $12.59. The service was fine and the blast tasted fine. The problem is the cost. I have to admit that I haven't been to a Sonic in years, but I will never return. I can not justify paying that much for 2 small cups of ice cream. It's all about value perceived and this was not justified. I will start keeping a 1/2 gallon of blue bell ice cream in my freezer. Manager whose name was “elly” , was insanely rude. Asked for a kids meal a few min before closing to see if they’d be willing or able to. Though they said no, the managers tone and choice of words were despicable. All she had to say was Iam sorry we can’t do that due to us closing so soon, and instead chose to be incredibly rude and mouthy. No need for the amount of sass and Attitude she was giving out.
