I’ve gone to this sonic for years at this point. The drop in quality recently has been meteoric enough to kill the dinosaurs. Most recently they replaced traditional drive through speakers with these systems that will drop your call to take an order after half a minute or so. They apparently want you to order from an obtuse interactive menu than pay an actual human being to talk to you. Ordered a large coke via the app. Checked in before arriving. Several cars back to back cars arriving after me, put their order in via the speaker-got their drink before me. I pressed the red button. 3:32 min pass by. Nothing. Pressed it again. Another 4 mins passes and then I hear: “thanks for choosing sonic…..” I informed her that I was waiting on a drink and had been for 10 mins. Don’t bother coming here after 8pm or so. Three times in a row they’ve taken our order and then just completely forgotten about us. Won’t be going back. :(
