I saw Dr. Desai for about a year. In that time, I was put on anti depressants and was prescribed pills for any slight side effect I was having, leaving me with many unnecessary prescriptions. She would “leave the country” every few months, and one time I missed her email and needed a refill and her receptionist said she would not be back for a week and would have no way to access her or a back up doctor. My experience with Doctor Desai is outstanding. She is very down to earth and is willing to take new approaches when it comes to the use of medications. She is very responsive to patient concerns and needs.
Would absolutely not recommend!!! I would give zero stars if I could. Does not listen to you or your needs. Not considerate or understanding and very unprofessional. Gives unnecessary medications and refuses to prescribe necessary ones. When asked a question she will lie to you. Very rude and Uncompassionate. Is not knowledgeable about PTSD and tries to push antidepressants on you. Do yourself a favor and save your time and the headache, and go to a different doctor
