I repeat do not use and do not pay cash of you do. dropped my boat off to be winterized and get several little thing fixed and for him to order lights. did not do any of this and said he did payed him up front 800$ for the work he said he did.. but absolutely nothing was fixed and now cant get a hold of him. tool it to another shop and fixed everything for less than 300$. dudes a RIP off
paid for boat to be fixed had to give him cash and he dis not fix the boat when we took it to another place to get it repaired they said he did not do what he said he did ,plus used used parts,plus missed the boat up using a pair of vic grips where he should not have. paid him $ 700.00. now its being repared right at another place.
Would not take another boat to be "worked on" by this place! I say "worked on" because they definitely don't fix a dang thing! Was quoted a price to repair tilt/trim of "around $250" and after giving him just over $700 for work done, I still had to take it to Arts Marine because it was still BROKE! The mechanics at Arts Marine said "whoever attempted to fix motor was not a mechanic" not to mention we paid full price for used parts even though I was told the parts I paid for would be new. RecommendedA all around good experience. Fast and reliable. Mr. Songer knows his stuff and has a southern charm that made me feel at home. If you need repairs or seasonal maintenance look no further.
Took my motor in for some Carb work and he quoted me the best price around with the fastest turn around!! Definitely will be taking my stuff back to him in the future!
Mike did a great job on my motor. Kept me informed and was very prompt getting the work done.
Honest mechanics are hard to find, Mike is one of em. Thank you !!
