Found mold in the ac unit and I had to request a new room. The staff wanted my husband and I to stay in the room with our newborn when there was black mold present. They thought replacing the unit would be enough, but are unaware of mold spores. The general manager, Cecil, is a nightmare. She has a horrible attitude and had the nerve to tell us we had until 6 to move our things out of the old room where the mold was present into our new room, since they "needed" a room. Check in was friendly and prompt. The room was clean and well equipped. Notice in lobby states additional kitchenette items will be provided free of charge on request. Two burner stove, dishwasher, large microwave, and full size refrigerator make this a great option for an extended stay. Although near the airport, the stay was quite quiet. College neighborhood on summer break, but was a pleasant stay in July. Close to essentials like convenience stores and best part, and incredible bagel shop in the same complex. The rooms here are pretty large and clean. The full kitchen is nice for extended stays and I stayed 11 nights. The area is safe with the police station right down the street and plenty of restaurants close by. The $50 parking fee sucks and the laundry room only has 2 washers out of 4 that worked and only 2 dryers.
