After flying into Houston with my wife and child, we checked into our room completely exhausted, only to face an immediate health and safety issue. Although we booked a non-smoking room, it smelled heavily of stale smoke. When we complained, management informed us that they still allowed smoking in other rooms on the same floor—effectively defeating the purpose of a non-smoking designation. It seems to me like this used to be a really nice hotel but the new owners have let it go. The hotel is quite cheap and you get what you pay for. Here is my very honest review: THE GOOD: My CURRENT room is fine, not really dirty or anything (however the "kitchen" floor is a bit sticky) there is a kitchenette with a cook top, microwave, coffee maker and smaller fridge/freezer. An extended stay here would certainly be doable. It is reasonably located, there's a pretty nice twin peaks and some dance bar within walking distance... read more

The manager is very rude when speaking to a female. The first night im here , he threatened to put me out for the amount of luggage I brought in. He called me dirty and was very disrespectful. Second day , I take my daughter down to the lobby to buy a soda and he starts being disrespectful again about my belongings being in a room i have paid for... now today the maid traded my towels out and I was waiting on new sheets that never came. So I go down to the desk for my sheets and he proceeds to tell me it not my day for linen... read more

By far the best extended stay place in Houston. Bob, the owner/manager is great and very accommodating. Daily room service keeps this place immaculate. Rooms are clean. Location is tucked away but still right of the highway. It's always quite . No stragglers hanging around. Very reasonable rates for what you get. I highly recommend.
