Stayed there for 7 days and the whole time the older Asian lady, I think her name was Myla… was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. She wouldn’t give me coffee that’s supposed to come with the room. She also tried to charge me for snacks that I never received. She’s very sneaky and made me feel very uncomfortable. I really can’t believe they have her on management. We had 2 different rooms here and the first room was perfect. I got there and they told me I got a free upgraded room which is always nice, the first room was great. Clean, comfortable, and very spacious. We needed to extend our stay so we checked out of the upgraded room and checked into a studio under the another guest name. We checked into room 318 and it was filthy, the towels were frayed and not only that we didn’t get a full set of towels and there were no wash cloths. I tried to only send good reviews, but this one bothered me today. Especially after I just left an amazing experience at the royal sonesta in Chicago. I had 2 teenagers who were with me, 4 toddlers (2 sets of twins 18 months apart) who stayed in Baltimore (where I’m working) while we were gone. The Sonesta was one of three hotels we had to choose from as part of a "stay to play" competition for my daughter. Upon arrival, the small lobby had 3 people waiting to be checked in. The employee at the front desk was working off of a stack of papers and a cell phone to check people in. There seemed to be no working computer system (or a properly trained employee) so he was averaging about 15 minutes per check-in.
