I went on the official website I tried to rent a room for a homeless man who was in desperate need. When I opened up the website I assumed it would have given me the dates for July. However it was for October I did not realize it until after I had already authorized the payment. After the payment is authorized at no point prior to the payment being authorized did it say that it was a non-refundable non-modifiable and non-cancelable. My son and I had a wonderful stay at the Sonesta Select. We stayed for two nights in mid June. The interior of the hotel has had a refresh and is updated, clean and inviting. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly (we arrived relatively late); she greeted us with a smile. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed that there was snacks at night and breakfast in the morning. The Pool is a really special part of this hotel. Extremely Disappointed – A Paid Reservation Means Nothing Here My wife paid in full, in advance, for a room that was apparently optional for the hotel to honor. We arrived at 3:30 a.m., only to be told the room had been given away. This, despite the fact that their own policy states: “Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m.” with no specified cutoff time.
