Rough start, had to switch rooms 3 times, one room was still occupied, but the wedding, the staff, the food and location made up for it.
We enjoyed our stay at this resort, thanks to its exceptionally friendly staff and great location. However, I was disappointed to discover a 25% tip automatically added to the daily breakfast buffet charge without my prior knowledge. When I reached out for clarification, I was assured that the food and services manager would follow up, but I never received a call. I recommend closely reviewing your invoice, as the resort seems to take liberties with adding tips.
Be careful when checking out. You get charged $40 a day for their “ resort fee” even when it rains the whole time and you don’t use any of the outdoor facilities . I requested a credit for the 3 days we were there. The answer was no. Not a towel, beach chair, corn hole was used …. I show this because I am tired of getting a separate charge for everything. This is what they SOLD US AS A BEACH VIEW??? The Resort is like a Retirement Village . The restaurants decor and food reflects this as well. Around 7:00pm last night we were sitting on the balcony listening to music . Apparently a staff member knocked on our door, when we didn't answer they just let themselves in. Walked thru our room to the balcony, knocked on the glass door to ask us " DO YOU WANT TURN DOWN SERVICE?"
