The pictures are highly misleading. The reception ladies are way too rude, when we asked about can we put in request for a room cleaning. They were like what do mean by that. We can provide you with supplies for changing bed covers extra garbage bags etc however their cleaning staff works on a schedule of cleaning the room after 6 days. I thought we were coming to stay in a hotel and not an Air BnB. Very convenient location. Booked this hotel because it looked spacious, clean, updated based on the pictures. Parking was great, no issues whatsoever. The room however was dirty, carpet was so old and dirty, walls were chipped and cracking, baseboards were so dirty and the bed headboard were peeling. Bodywash/shampoo dispenser were empty. I was so disappointed. Our vacation felt cheapened by this stay. We will never book with a Sonesta Property. We will spread the word.
I have been staying at Sonesta ES suites with my husband and cats since 7/29, due to our apartment building in Mt. Prospect having a fire, rendering it uninhabitable. The experience I have had during this time has been SO REFRESHING. Our expected check out date has changed over 4 times, because our apartment is still not ready to return to.
