First off, Antonio at the front desk is fantastic. I arrived hours early and he let me check into my room and settle in, waiving the $35 early check in fee. What a great guy! My room was very well-equipped, and even had a kitchenette stocked with a fridge, stove, pots, pans, silverware and dishes. The room was clean when I arrived and looked to be recently renovated--Antonio indeed confirmed the ES Suites were undergoing refreshing renovations. They look great! I had a great stay at the Sonesta Suites. i stayed here for an extended period of time and have nothing but fantastic things to say. Apartment style hotel with exceptional staff. I had a great time and made great memories with the staff. I will definitely be coming back to this property!
I had booked 8 nights with the Schaumburg, IL location. Soon arrival the place was not what was expected. The swimming pool water was green and out of service. The basketball area was run down. These were just the first things I noticed. When checking in I ask the manager about the pool and he replied we’re working on getting the pool open and most likely it will not be ready while we were staying there.
