Also, my husbands testing came back 6 mos ago as positive, office staff never informed us. POSITIVE FOR CANCER Who does that waits over 6 mos and when we called for an appointment oh by the way you have a positive cancer result.
I have been with this doctor for a number of years... but no more. The most dysfunctual medical office I have ever been to. Little if no followup from doctor and back office is served by an very unpleasant medical assistant. this MA is full of excuses for any and all delays. I had to wait 2 weeks for an xray order for an very important medical problem. The doctor seems to not care enough to follow through on important matters.
The front office staff was wonderful; my insurance was messed up & they were so helpful getting it “fixed”. Even got to keep my appointment & Dr. Sonderer’s nurse practitioner was extremely thorough. His assistant is wonderful as well, went above & beyond, all while maintaining kindness & professionalism. Very grateful.
Consistently good. He's very relaxed and patiently answers your questions. He pointed out some wiser dietary choices for losing weight and feeling better--but without the lecture. This was really appreciated. Highly recommended.
Dr Sonderer and his staff have been treating my 93yr old mother and we are very pleased with the care. He explains everything very thoroughly, is patient, has a good sense of humor and is proactive with preventative care. His staff is friendly and efficient. Wait times and costs are very reasonable. Would recommend him to all.

Really like this Dr. He is easy to talk to, listens to your issues. He will tell you he is not a "baby sitter" so you need to be proactive with your care. Back office is sometimes a bit lax in follow through with referrals/refills. Front office is wonderful! Very grateful we found this doctor!
Dr. Sonderer has been my family's doctor for over 20 years, assisting my daughter when she was a young child into young adulthood, and my mother into her late 90's. I've never noticed him in a "bad mood." He is always attentive. Many times I have found his "I don't know" responses refreshing and honest making his opinions feel trustworthy. His explanations of medical conditions, tests, treatments and medication effects has been helpful and easy to understand.
