I had a prepaid reservation but the payment had not yet been charged to my card. I landed after a flight without internet access and started receiving a series of emails warning that my booking would be canceled if payment wasn’t made immediately. Room 318 smelled like mildew, stains on the living room carpet and the living area was sterile with a dorm fridge with microwave on top. Did not look like the photos. Mattress was horrible, too hot and the linens were crunchy. Not what I expected from a Marriott type room.
My fiancé and I stayed here last night in the Historic Norment Perry House (room 102). We had a great experience and would absolutely stay at this hotel again. It was so cute and cozy! When booking, we chose the “spacious” option and I think this could be why we had a better experience than some of the other reviewers. Was excited to stay here for the weekend as it’s my boyfriend’s birthday and we had a comedy show planned we’ve been looking forward to for months. Upon arrival everything seemed fine until we tried to get in bed and noticed bed bug larva and hair on the sheets, and full grown smushed bed bugs under neath the mattress. We packed our things and left at 3 in the morning.
Was in town for the Sleep Token concert and needed somewhere close to the venue (because we wanted to walk to and from) and somewhere with 2 room suites because there was 3 of us. This was so cute! Easy to use the code and find the room. Room was comfortable and noise outside didnt bother us at all. The only thing is there was no door between the 2 rooms but I should have looked at the pictures better! Would definitely stay here again!
