We are staying at Sonder The Schaeffer Apartments French Quarterfor 7 nights. Cute place. Good location. However Bonvoy is refusing to provide us towels. We are 4 adults and a child in a 6 person rental. There are only 4 towels and 2 bath mats when check in. Requested wash clothes and more towels for week. They texted us that is all we get as far as towels for week There are no pool towels yet a display where to be provided. no detergent. As a local business owner born and raised in Treme, I’ve brought many tourists to this establishment over the years—often highlighting it as a stop on my cultural tours. I’ve supported them repeatedly, giving them business and overlooking smaller issues for the greater good of building community. But what happened today was absolutely unacceptable, and I can no longer stay silent. As others said would give it a zero if i could just for the horrible experience with their service. The Airconditioning did not function and we were at 80F on all days. They agreed to partially refund us for our stay which we had no option as being a long weekend hotels were sold out. The microwave and laundry were faulty. The washer leaked water .
