Incredibly loud. There is a club that blasts base music until 2am Tue - Sat. Booked this place purposely despite cheaper options because I expected a certain level of comfort for paying more. This place should be no more than 50 bucks a night based on the noise. The entire building is rumbling and the noise is audible even with white noise and ear plugs. We had a fantastic stay with The Merchant for my girlfriends 30th birthday. Special thanks to Rob who went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing experience. He made sure we had one of the best rooms in The Merchant Hotel with incredible views of the city. Also decorating our room with balloons and leaving a bottle of rose for us on our return from birthday celebrations. The location is perfect, just outside the very loud centre but with easy access to all the sights. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Do not book here. The noise from the hotels bar (more like night club) will keep you awake very late. You can literally feel the rumbling from the base in your bed and the rumbling base sound until 2am almost every night of the week. It is absolutely not worth the cost. I purposely spent more for this hotel because I wanted to have a nice stay. We stayed at this hotel for 10 days. The view was amazing. The hotel staff were fantastic. Greetings to the night staff who welcomed us with "good evening folks" 🤘🏼💙
