Beautifully restored and clean room, very convenient location, easy automated check-in.
The good is that this place is centrally located, and reasonably priced compared to most other options in Alexandria. The bad is that the room has a bit of an awkward layout, the rooms feel much smaller than in the photos. Outside of the bathroom there wasn't anywhere to hang clothes, and just having your suitcase out blocked the walkway. There was also mold above the bed and the ac/heating unit was incredibly dusty and loud. Love the quality bath products. Cupboards in kitchen were too high for me. A small step stool would be helpful. A closet to hang clothes would've been helpful.
My wife and I just spent five nights at the casa on King Street Old Town Alexandria. The building was in the perfect location right in the center of town. The unit was easy to get in and out of with an access code. The room was well appointed with everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable bed. We would stay there again.
Great location. Quiet. Easy check in and checkout. Clean room. Also close to Amtrak. No complaints.
