My stay at Sonder The Beacon was disappointing. As someone who has stayed in hotel-like Airbnbs before, I had certain expectations that were not met. The reservation was for an ocean view, but the room was in the corner of the building, so the view wasn't as expected. The bathroom lacked a counter and had only one shower curtain, which led to water on the floor after every shower. Lovely funky art deco hotel, very South Beach Friendly accommodating staff Only complaint is the 10 floor "lounge" . More like a doctor's waiting room. How about playing a little background music, having a coffee maker and water and maybe some little things to snack on. Sad !
