Booked it and they cancelled on us a few weeks later with no notice - the costs of other accommodation has gone up and there's less options in the area given it was for the busy marathon period. Would not recommend or trust booking with them
I booked a stay at Sonder for volunteer teen girsl who were attending the ACR convergence expecting a comfortable and secure environment, especially given the $300 per night price point. Instead, it was one of the most stressful stays I’ve ever had. There was constant noise and unruly behaviour from neighbouring units throughout the night, and there was no visible security to manage the situation. 3/5 The place itself was really nice — good location, comfortable room, and convenient for getting around. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the stay, but the service was disappointing. After paying a good amount for the booking, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an extra USD 175 for cleaning, which was never mentioned at the time of booking. Amazing stay with great value. First of all the location is great. It’s walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and train station. Also, it’s super quick to get a Uber. Then the safety is great. They have night time security, also, when come to the building need a code and also reading the face. And go into the room need the code again. Someone in their staff stole a brand new coat that I left in the unit...... I left some items in the unit and called as soon as I checked out so that I could recover them and one of the three items that i left was not recovered. It was a brand new coat. I didn't get any type of reimbursement and I have stayed at Bonvoy hotels for 3 years now. It is the main hotel that the company I work for uses because I travel a lot for work.
