Great place by the beach - 100 steps from your room to the shore. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating they made our visit memorable. Beach chairs and towels available and great coffee/pastry and lunch spot right up the street. Easy walk to the nightlife of Newport Beach pier area. Four day stay and never needed a car. Will 100% return!
WATCH OUT! This is a family-owned hotel that has a history of not treating its employees fairly. They often delay paychecks, forcing employees to repeatedly ask for their wages, and sometimes pay very late.
This is a solid spot on the beach. I’m not sure why some people are complaining. It’s a beach hotel, so there will always be some rough edges but I had a great experience. Walk *half a block* to the ocean, half a block to an amazing coffee shop, Vacancy and enjoy yourself. Only caveat is rooms on first floor are loud.
Good experience, room very clean, bed was so comfortable, just not parking they have limited spaces available but we found one on the street just in front of the room. No issues, I recommend and if I need book a room at this location I will do it again .
Shikhar at the front desk displayed great patience and went out of his way to accommodate two in our group who had an issue with their reservation. He was also a very pleasant young man.
