We booked in February for a stay from Sept 26-Oct 1. I had booked a suite which had two queen beds and a sofa bed since I had 3 kids with us. We arrived at 1 am went to our room to find one king bed and no sofa bed. Front desk staff could not move us. The next day we were informed Marriott had announced 2 weeks prior to the staff that the hotel was closing on Sept 29th. Sonder/Marriott no longer owns this property, and the handling of this transition has been extremely poor. The company failed to notify booking holders, canceled reservations without any communication, and provided no clarity on refunds. As of this review, the property still appears bookable online, which is baffling. Why the website remains operational under these circumstances is unclear and deeply frustrating.
Good spacious hotel apartment style room for a business trip
Permanently closed. We booked and paid in advance. Got a reservation reminder on 9/30 for our stay on 10/1 but they closed permanently in 9/29!
