I really enjoyed my stay here. The room is comfortable and fairly spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable, I almost overslept both days I was there. I appreciated that it has a regular coffee pot. The location is good to, just outside of the downtown.
I cannot recommend this stay due to misleading information and confusing check in. THIS IS NOT AN AIRBNB. This is an apartment converted into hotel rooms owned by Marriot. We booked this room and paid in full. When I went to get the check instructions the day before the trip the site said they would be sent three days before. We did not receive them so I messaged the “host”. They said we had to do the pre-verification, which was an online form you have to fill out before you stay. Despite some other reviews I really enjoyed our week stay here. Yes there are some downfalls like there being no shade cover to the larger living room window or the smaller bedroom one, but it was very sanitary and comfortable. A home away from home of sorts. I couldn't figure out the dual washer and dryer at times, and I felt very secure and taken care of. I believe that the "graffiti" was done by someone who was staying there as it's not everywhere. Meh…it’s safe and it clean. Also location is good. It’s an ok place. But it’s trying to be a trendy, artsy type of property and it totally misses the mark. It’s like a major chain hotel had a pet project to create a “cool” property. There’s no vibe or soul to it. Not that a hotel needs this, but they are trying so hard to have it. Also the construction quality is poor. For example I the front door doesn’t close properly. The hallways are missing trim and the overall feel is cheap but trying desperately to be upscale. The location couldn't be any better. The apartment is spacious and cute. However, there were a lot of details missed and maintenance issues with non-functional ceiling fans and a window AC unit that sounded like an idling semi next to my head.
