My partner and I stayed here from September 18-20. I write this as we are still unfortunately here for another night. We were unaware that the hotel was directly above a nightclub and were woken up from 11pm until close to 3:30am when the very loud bass that we could hear very strongly stopped. We stayed in unit #405. Great location, layout and space. The two washrooms were nice for our family of 4. I would not consider the units air conditioned. Only one of the rooms in our 2 bedroom unit had air conditioning had a small wall unit. It leaked like a faucet rendering it useless. It looks like it had leaked a lot before as there was noticeable water damage on the wall and baseboards. Additionally, the washing machine in our unit did not work. **Excellent location and thoughtfully designed space!** Just had a wonderful stay at this Sonder property on Saint Jacques Street. The location is absolutely perfect - you're within easy reach of both Old Montreal and downtown, making it ideal for exploring the city. The apartment itself exceeded my expectations. Appart hôtel bien situé, calme (6eme étage sur cour), plutôt propre à l’arrivée. Lits confortables En revanche cuisine mal équipée, impossible de préparer un vrai repas (mais c’est ok pour réchauffer un plat préparé) il y a beaucoup de restaurants dans le quartier donc ce n’était pas un gros problème mais il faut en tenir compte
We encountered a rat within 30 minutes of entering the room. Had to book a stay at another hotel last minute and pay considerably more. Tried calling the concierge but all they could do was bring more rat traps. We found several behind the tv stand and refrigerator so it’s a known rodent issue. So unsanitary. They refuse to refund me for my second night and instead think I’d take a credit to stay here again. Like I would subject my family to that, what a joke!
