The Parking Garages, Hallways, Lobbys and Elevators had awful smells to them. They needed maintenance at the most. I was very disappointed in everything leading up to the Room. The Room was a little above Average. The Couches had stains. It was not properly cleaned throughout.
Came down for Mardi Gras week and i am grateful to have found this space. This is a five-star review for a vacation rental that costs about half as much as any other Hotel in the neighborhood and has much more amenities. Namely a nearly full kitchen with microwave, full size refrigerator, two burner stove top, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine and tea kettle. This is one of the worst places I have stayed. When you walk into the building, the first thing you smell is urine. That smell carries into what appears to be the only working elevator (out of a bank of 6) that shakes continuously as you ride up and down. The first room we were sent to had a door that did not fully close - it was clear the deadbolt had been pried open (see pic). We called customer service and were eventually moved to another room. Rented out an apartment on Air BNB or Verbo, been so long I don't remember which. Place was very clean. Only problem was you had to go through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom. Building was located only a couple blocks from Bourbon St and the main drag. Plenty of restaurants located around the building. Great view from the roof.
