Reliable comfort, but some design and location quirks: One of the things I love about staying at a Sonder is the consistency—you know it’ll be clean, stylish, and comfortable. This location was no exception in that regard, and it made for a great staycation base. The staff were lovely, the space smelled fresh, and it was close to everything I needed. If you want a nice apartment in a great central location, this is a great choice. Great value. The bedroom and kitchen/diner were good. Study a nice bonus. Bathroom very small. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of towels (if a bit thin). Laundry room excellent. Don't come here expecting a luxury hotel, the finish isn't good enough.
This was recommended to us by family who stayed there previously and it was everything my wife and I had wanted in a hotel stay when on vacation. The amenities (fridge/freezer, stove with pots and pans, dishwasher) were absolutely fantastic to have on our trip (and saved us hundreds in restaurant bills!). Checking in online was a breeze and staff were available on-site in addition to the app to help answer any questions. They were very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely disgusting. Should have listened to the many negative reviews. Just checked in and encountered immediate cleanliness issues. Dirty hairy, dead skin, and grime buildup on exposed bed frame. Sheets have not been changed between guests, someone's hairb (multiple strands) in between the duvet and fitted sheet. Extremely poorly insulated patio door, you can hear conversations down at street level 8 floors below.
