dr. cooper doesn’t listen to your concerns and just dismisses them. the only thing she will do for you is recommend birth control, and when that doesn’t work for you, she will just continue to push you to keep taking different ones. her negligence resulted in me having to get emergency surgery. if you are a young woman, i highly recommend seeing a different dr. because she is yet another gyno that doesn’t understand how to deal with young women and listen to their symptoms.
Please upgrade secretaries and communication. Dr Cooper is great but the support infrastructure is just not there.
I’m giving Dr Cooper 3 stars because a doctor is only as great as her secretaries and team. Making an emergency appointment to see her was impossible and called for a month wait. Imagine having an emergency and being told to wait a month…. I love Dr. Cooper, she saved my life along with her team at pascack medical after NYP Cornell discharged me 2 days pp with a bp of 160/110. I reached over 210/150 and Cornell told me I’ll be fine… I was hospitalized under Dr. Coopers care for 2 days and her bed side manners helped me cope.... read more
My husband and I loved seeing Dr. Cooper for my first pregnancy. She made me feel really comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new Obgyn
I wanted to inquire about hormone treatment for my mood swings and lack of energy. She told me that I needed to see a therapist, that she didn't recommend hormone treatment, that I was depressed and should get on antidepressants. After a year of hormone treatment, I feel great and looking to find a great gyno for my annual check ups. Stay away from this doctor, she is and looks busy and had zero time to listen and to understand my needs.
