Well I will just say check Google reviews because all of these are very old. Everything in the reviews are true about waiting years to send you a statement and charging your credit card without permission. Especially when her office can’t bill insurance within 6 months. Read the reviews.
Meh! Meh! Meh! Rude receptionist, uses sweet sounding words like 'darlin' but then delivers a barb, fake politeness. It is always a patient's fault. It seems like there is no one to answer the phone. When it IS answered it is a miracle. Messages often go unanswered. Patients are left stressed out wondering what they should do, how can they get helpbcos they cannot reach the doctor. My son was a patient of Dr. Sommerset and he was charged $80 for what we are not sure and without his knowledge.He never received a statement in the mail and on Monday, 1/21/2019 he was charge without so much as a phone call asking for payment over the phone.We've requested statements of the charges to be sent and as of right now I don't think that is going to happen, were told we'll see.His 2nd phone call was unanswered and I ended calling to request statements and receptionist was very rude.
Always friendly & thorough, but lets you know what you need to do for yourself to help. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr Sommerset & have referred friends to her.
Dr. Sommerset is like family to me and my husband. She has become a wonderful family friend. I have never had a doctor that I trust more or enjoying seeing.
I thought I would talking with someone I've known my whole life and the options of treatment is great to me. Thanks Dr.Sommerset
