Was excited to see an ice cream and taiyaki combo spot like back home, i went for the ube and thai tea mix soft serve with a red bean taiyaki. Generally i'd say it leaned on the sweeter side, and the soft serve itself was rather mild—more of a sugary-milk flavour than a distinct ube or thai tea. That said, it still complimented the warm, crunchy taiyaki nicely. The red bean filling was just enough, and also on the sweeter end, but i loved the matcha powder topping; a solid spot for a rich, creamy sweet treat.
I tried those waffles first time in Korea. I am glad that they are so readily available now here. I am a big Nutella fan and of course love the Nutella filled ones. The red bean filling is too sweet for me. In summer I love the combo with ice cream. Unfortunately, not a whole lot of seating in there but great to grab and go!
