UPDATE! Something Special "made it right" by replacing lilies that died in 2 days. Replacement flowers are much nicer than the original lilies, so all is well. Mother is satisfied; daughter is satisfied.
Perhaps my experience is out of character, but they left a delivery of cut flowers sitting outside since there was no one home when they arrived. They had a phone number and should have arranged specific delivery time. Cut flowers do not survive sitting outside on a hot day! Disappointed with dead flowers at 1800flowers.com prices! Waiting for Something Special to correct situation.... According to 1800flowers.com freshness is guaranteed for 7 days. We got less than 24 hours!
