We enjoyed our first Thursday night, Blue Light Special at Something Different, a four course dinner created by the Chef, and inspired by available local ingredients. Took my fiancé here for his birthday and we REALLY enjoyed our time! The food was incredible, we tried new things, Chef D and the team were all super welcoming and friendly! I would highly recommend! We will be back!
Great place to have a special celebration. The food is extraordinary, with high quality fresh ingredients, and the service top notch, from Trish welcoming us at the door to the engaging stories behind each dish told by Chef D and his team. I recently treated my wife to a dinner at Something Special for her birthday, and the experience truly lived up to its name. We enjoyed a fantastic seven-course tasting menu that featured a wonderful variety of flavors. Every dish was prepared with great care. Spectacular from the moment we walked in. We were greated immediately with a lively guava drink and warm welcome. Atmosphere is cosy and felt like walking into a friend's for dinner. Definitely not pretentious. We learned that Chef D reused and repurposed tables and chairs from a second store.. Dishes were sourced from a thrift store... "Something Different" indeed.
