After seeing what my friend went through with Something Borrowed Bridal, I would never recommend them. She ordered and paid over $600 for a custom wedding dress months in advance, but it never arrived. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn other brides about my experience with Something Borrowed Bridal. I paid over $600 for a custom wedding dress and was told it would arrive in about 8 weeks. I ordered it 11 weeks before my bridal photos and 15 weeks before my wedding, so there should have been plenty of time. As my bridals approached, I still hadn’t received any communication. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Owner is a scam artist. As the Maid of Honor, I watched my best friend spend the weeks leading up to her wedding trying to get answers about the dress she ordered. She kept getting ignored, and it wasn’t until her mom went into the store that they finally admitted they had lost her dress. The girl at the front desk was really nice and helpful however, the whole place is dirty and the dresses are gross and stained. I get that dresses may get slightly dirty while trying on, but dry clean the dress when returned, put the dresses in bags and clean the floors. Nobody wants to try on a dirty dress.
