Dr Shoji and the staff are awesome! Highly recommend!
I really actually like this place but they randomly stopped taking masshealth, which means they gave me the route canal but stopped taking my insurance before I could get the crown. I realllllly do like this dentistry and would rate four stars, if they took it again. Honestly if I remember correctly they didn't take that insurance, the they did and then they didn't. I didn't say that I would rate a five start because they could not complete a root canal and then literately right after they wouldn't take my insurance for gene... read more
I had my first visit at Somerville Family Dental and it was truly exceptional. The staff was welcoming, professional and attentive from start to finish. Dr Shaji explained all the X-ray exams results to me step by step. The office is clean, modern, and well organized, which added an overall comfort to the experience. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Everyone is kind and caring, the procedures are as painless as possible, and they are always there in an emergency. Dr. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Unlike my previous dentist, he never tries to upsell me on unnecessary procedures, and always prioritizes my health.
I had a dental emergency recently, and I was very impressed with the service I received. They were able to accommodate me right away, and the customer service was impeccable. The facility was also very impressive. During my appointment, they took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and even showed me what my previous doctor had done incorrectly. It was a wonderful experience overall, and the prices were very reasonable. I will be sure to update my review once I have my procedure done.
