We had such a wonderful experience with this dentist and their entire team. My daughter has a lot of anxiety and fear around dental visits due to needing extensive dental work at a very young age, so appointments have always been very difficult for her. The care I received from the moment I walked in was delightful; I felt so comfortable—and they inspired such confidence in me—that, despite it being my first time visiting that office, it felt as though I had been a patient there for a long time. We’ve been bringing our children to Somerset Smiles for about a year now and overall have had a very positive experience. The office is clean, well-organized, and the staff — especially the hygienists and front desk team — are consistently kind, patient, and helpful with both parents and children. Best dentist office I’ve been to in years!!! Dr. Acquah was extremely kind and patient during my cleaning. He made sure I was comfortable and even switched tools when I was experiencing pain to keep me comfortable during my visit. He also took time to explain my x-rays to me. Everyone in the office is kind and personable, especially Suzan who thoroughly explained my treatment plan and all options available to me. This office truly cares about patient care and I am glad to be a patient :)
Had a dental emergency (that turned into a root canal that needed to be redone) Dr Acquaah handled me perfectly for the initial appointment, Identifying the root cause (hehe) and refering me to an endodontist to take care of it. Afterwards, when i returned for the crown replacement He assessed the material left for the crown and gave me 2 options, Attempt a new crown which could fail, or fill the old crown. i went with filling the old crown.
